In the past, the criticism I received for my stories was never very specific. My stories was too long winded, no enough detail or dialogue was boring. As a writer it’s often hard to please everyone, and you never should. I’ve received 90% praise over 10% criticism.

After eight years of writing, it’s been the last six months, that the term – show, don’t tell – has crossed my path. In the beginning, I search online for answers but never really found a defined explanation of how one could improve their writing.

Read more – they said.

But read what exactly. Other books, other resources – I set out to find my own answers.

In the video below I discuss Show, Don’t Tell and my take on it. I hope that this will help other authors understand, who might also being having trouble.
